Fox in Winterscene Plate

This is a plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is handpainted with a superb scene of a fox in a winter landscape in the center. These types of scenes are super rare and really quite nice. Very well painted! The rim itself is painted with gold on a raised design and in the open areas in the gold they painted a light yellow. The plate is in perfect condition with a few black spots in the raised gold which might just be dirt and one spot of stacking wear in the grey snow of the scene at about 4 o'clock but it looks like it was done on purpose and is part of the scene so not obvious at all! The plate is 8.5 inches in diameter so not the smallest size either. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, a gold painters number 42 and a rare thing - the artist full name. Also the usual impressed marks of the period.
