Neuzierat Floral Chargerr Plate

This is a rare charger plate made by KPM in the early 20th century during WWI. This is the largest size of these plates that KPM made and it is stunning! The piece is hand painted with a superb flower design in the center that is just amazingly detailed! The Weichmalerei colors KPM used during this period are just about as elegant as it gets! The flowers include apple blossoms I believe as well as some small purple flowers and a branch and leaves. The rim itself is painted with gold on a raised design. The plate is in superb condition with some very minor wear to the gilding along the very edge and some staining in the gold that could be cleaned a bit better as well as a scratch in the white area that I took a photo of. It displays perfectly! This size of these plates is next to impossible to find! The piece is 11 inches in diameter and 1.25 inch tall. The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark, some black numbers and letters, a painter's or gilder's mark, two black iron corssed and the usual impressed marks of this period.
