Floral Cache Pot

This is a a really nice early jadieniere / cache pot / flower pot / planter / champagne cooler made by KPM in the early 20th century during WWI. The piece is hand painted with two large floral arrangements - one to the front and one to the back well as smaller flowers to the sides under the handles. The handles have a nice shape to them and are highlighted with some gilding and the top part of the piece has a basket weave relief design to it. Gold line to the top edge and along the foot. It is from their Neuosier line. The piece is in superb condition but was used so the inside has some scratches and a bit of minor staining and a ground spot on the bottom edge from the making but nothing that takes away from the piece at all! The pot is marked underneath with their under glaze blue scepter mark with a letter below it, the red orb, a black iron cross, some black numbers and letters and the usual impressed marks from this period as shown. The piece is about 6.625 inches tall and 7.125 inches in diameter with the handles sticking out another inch on either side. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $849
