Floral Breakfast Board

This is a rare find - a breakfast / cutting board made by KPM in the 19th century. You don't see breakfast board very often at all and this one is nicely hand painted with a yellow and orange fancy poppy flower with its blossoms, stems and leaves. The upper part of the board has some relief design to the outside that is highlighted with gilding. A nice looking piece! It is is in great condition with some wear to the gold highlights along the top as shown. Looks great and displays nicely! The plaque is marked underneath with the impressed scepter mark with K.P.M. under that as well as some impressed numbers and letters as shown. The board is 11.625 inches tall, 7.125 inches wide and 0.375 inches thick. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
