Amazing Fish Scene Plate #13

This is an amazing plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. I have always wanted one of these and got lucky and got a whole set recently. The plate is handpainted with a fish scene that covers the entire center including a large fish and a smaller fish with some seaweed. The rim has a nice raised design to it with the edge basketweave design painted in a yellow ground color with a gold trim to the edge and a really nice gold trim going into the plate. Has that Art Nouveau / Jugendstil feeling to it and is just an amazing plate! The piece is in good condition with a bit of wear in the bottom seaweeds which I covered up a bit so it displays perfectly! The plate is 1.375 inches tall and 9.625 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark and the usual impressed and painter's / gilder's marks. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
