Lady w/Putto & Goat Figurine

This is a really nice figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau period in which they used these superb softer colors called Weichmalerei. I have owned this group before and I always really like it. One of my favorite pieces by them! The figure is of a semi nude lady in the center that has her bosom exposed and a cloth covering her mid section. Next to her on the right side is a reticulated basket covered in grapes and graoe leaves and on her other side is a putto pouring something from a flask into a cup. Under the putto we have a goat. The base has lots of scroll work and detail to it much of which is highlighted with gilding. It is a stunning figurine! The perfect size as well - not too small and not too large. The piece is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the rred orb, some black and impressed marks as shown. The figurine is in superb condition - the only issue I could find is a tiny rough spot on the side of her big toe probably from when it was made since it is on the inside rather than the outside part of the toe. Invisible unless you feel for it. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $999
