Figural Spice Dish #1

This is a figural open salt or spice dish made by KPM around 1835. There is a figurine of a putto in the center with an oval bowl on either side held up by a nice base with three feet. The piece is nicely hand painted especially the bowls. There is a birds of paradise scene to both insides with a nice gold trim to the edge and another bird scene to the fron of each and bugs to the back. Nice basket look relief design to the outside of the bowls. A nice looking piece! The putto is hand painted nicely as well. Nice gold trim to the base. The piece displays nicely but there was a chip on the right inside back of the bowl which was restored and has yellowed a bit over time. It is not visible from the outside so likely a small flat chip that could easily be redone or it looks nice as is. The piece is 4.75 inches tall, 5.375 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It is marked with the under glaze blue scepter mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $129
