Fancy Scenic Cup & Saucer

This is the fanciest design of this style cup made by KPM in the early 20th century. Both pieces are handpainted with two high quality large scenes of couples in a landscape surrounding and an amazing raised gold trim with the open areas having a greenish ground color with lots of amazingly detailed gold designs to it. The cup handle has a nice shape also highlighted with gilding and the inside of the cup has a gold trim as well. About as superb a cup as you can find from KPM of this period! The set is in perfect condition which always helps :) The cup is 2.125 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.375 inches. Both are marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as some painter' s / gilder's marks and the usual impressed marks pieces of this period have.
