Deco Bowl #2

This is a bowl made by KPM in about 1945. It is called a Rohtrautschale and was created by Gerhard Gollwitzer in 1936. It is decorated in relief on the outside which is left unglazed and the inside is glazed so it can be used. The decoration is of deer and and people on stylized horses riding around the bowl. There is also some trees and flowers. It is a really neat design. The color is white in this case but I also have a celadon (slightly green color) up on the site. The bowl is 4.75 inches tall and 9.125 inches in diameter. It is in perfect condition and marked underneath with the blue scepter with the S for Selb as well as impressed marks K and c and some other marks. The scepter mark has a scratch in the glaze over it but not cut like seconds pieces usually are. Not sure if it just a scratch or really a second choice sign. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $299
