Queen of Holland Service Reticulated Plate #2

This is a reticulated plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is decorated in the so called Queen of Holland ( Königin von Holland ) design with the rim being reticulated with relief flowers at all the intersections, four cartouches of flowering branch designs surrounded by gilt scrolls and the usual reddish pink and gold trim to the edge typical of this service. A really nice looking plate that one rarely ever comes across. Sadly while the piece displays nicely it has some issues. There is a gilded in chip to the edge which I showed from the top and bottom view and there is a hairline to the edge that is easily spotted from the back but not the front at all. As I said it still displays very well. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and and 8.875 inches in diameter. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as a gilder's mark and the usual impressed marks as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $59
