Damaged Freedom Bell

This is a bell (called the freedom or Freiheits Glocke ) made by KPM and dated October 24, 1950 ( for the rebuilding after WWII). A nicely modeled piece with a relief designs of people holding torches in a circle all around the piece as well as a leaf design and the saying on the bottom rim: That This World Under God Shall Have A New Birth Of Freedom. A very fitting saying even today. Top is written Berlin 24-10-1950. The bell is sadly damaged on the top part where you wuld hold it. It has been restored but that area has since yellowed from age and could use a redo. Or if your bell is missing the clapper here is a chance to get it :) The bell is marked inside with the under glaze blue scepter mark as shown. First choice. The bell is 4.5 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $19
