Colorful Schuetz Blumenschiff Vase

This is a vase made by KPM in the 1950's. This piece is called a flower boat ( Blumenschiff )and was designed by Sigmund Schütz in 1953 and this painted version is extremely rare. It consists of an elongated porcelain bowl on a wooden base covered with a piece of brass. It comes with its flower frog that is removable as shown. The vase is in superb condition! The wood could use a new coat of varnish and the brass a polishing but that is normal on these pieces! It is 5.75 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 13 inches long. It is marked on the inside with the underglaze blue scepter mark as well as the red orb as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
