Cobalt & Gold Watteau Scene Plate #4

This is a nice plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. The plate is hand painted with a superb Watteau scene in the center including a lady and a gentleman with the gentleman playing a flute and the lady holding a stick - maybe fishing? while being surrounded with a nice landscape! sitting n a rock with the lady playing a flute. My favorite part is the cobalt blue rim with the fancy gilding to it just makes the plate "pop". The plate is in perfect condition - there is a bit of a flaw to the foot ring but it is glazed over and is original to the piece. It is about 8.125 inches in diameter and 1.375 inches tall. The piece is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, a gilt letter D as well as the usual impressed marks.
