Child Sledding Figurine

This is a very rare and fun figurine first modeled by Martin Fritzsche in 1910 and made by KPM in the 20th century. It is of a child (I saw it described as a boy but it looks more like a girl to me not that it matters) on a sled. Dressed warmly with a hat and long scarf that is flowing down the back as the kid is sledding down the hill and holding onto the strap in the front to not fall off. A very well modeled figure left in the white to show off all that detail without the distraction of color. Just superb! The figurine is in great condition with a chip to the edge of the end of the scarf all the way in the back. Looks like it had been restored previously but has come off again. A minor flaw that does notshow when on display. The figure is 5 inches tall, 3.75 inches deep and 7.25 inches long. It is marked with the under glaze blue scepter mark, the artist name and the usual impressed marks as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
