Ceres Service Plate

This is a plate made by KPM in 1913. The plate is from the famous Ceres Service designed by Theodor Schmuz-Baudiss for the 150 year anniversary of the manufactory. It is the most famous of the Jugenstil services I believe and the name comes from the Roman goddess of fertility and agriculture. Hence the cornucopias, etc. The plate is in perfect condition. It is 0.75 inches tall and 6.875 inches in diameter. The best part is that it is from the earliest time possible. The set was first designed in 1912 and this plate can be perfectly dated to 1913 - the year of the anniversary. The TSB mark is not even in black or green yet as was common even a year later already but in red. Does not get better than this! All the other marks are there including the anniversary mark, etc. as shown in the pictures. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
