Castle Scene Plate

This is a great plate made by KPM in the early 20th century. It is hand painted with a scene in the center of a castle or some sort of royal residence surrounded by a nice landscape including some trees and a small lake with a path by it. I am not sure what the building is so if someone knows a quick email is always appreciated! The rim has a nice shape to it and has a gold line around it with some nice blue design as well parts of which are raised. The plate is 1.125 inches tall and 8.5 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with a little bit of wear but displays beautifully! The plate is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark, the red orb mark, the usual impressed letters and a painter's mark normal to this period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
