Breslauer Stadtschloss Footed Basket

This is a stunning reticulated footed basket in the Breslauer Stadtschloss pattern made by KPM in the early 20th century. It's a hard to find shape and looks amazing! The flowers from this period use a bit darker colors and they are larger and more detailed than the newer pieces that one finds most of the time. The basket has five floral panels to the inside - one to the bottom and four along the rim. It has four more floral panels to the outside. It is heavily reticulated with gold and some blue highlights and the telltale blue scale design in areas of the rim above the floral panels. This is what gives it away as a Breslauer Stadtschloss piece. The outside has lots and lots of raised forgetmenots to the intersections of each cutout. The foot has some smaller flowers to it and more gold and blue trim. It's an amazing piece! It is one of the nicest patterns in my view and looks very stunning when on display. The plate is in perfect condition (one tiny spot of gold wear) and marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb and various painters marks and the usual impressed marks as shown. The piece is 4.375 inches tall, 8.5 by 8.25 inches at the top. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
