Blue Ground Cherub Scene Tea Caddy

This is a superb porcelain egg (a tea caddy / jar or something like this) on three feet with its lid made by KPM in the early 20th century. The main body is painted with a nice cobalt blue ground color and some fancy gilding on top some of which is raised. That is something that KPM is quite famous for and it looks stunning. The front of the piece has a nice hand painted scene to it of a cherub and a putto playing with two bunnies in a landsacpe surrounding. Top quality painting! The feet have a vine or branch going up them with leaves and flowers at the top end. The lid is nice as well. The piece is 6 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the red orb under one of the feet and the camera pics up the blue scepter mark under the cobalt blue ground color in the center underside as shown. I cannot see it with my eyes only. The piece is in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $1499
