Blanc de Chine Fun Cup

This is a fun cup / chalice / goblet or whatever you want to call it made by KPM in the early 20th century. I ahve come across these over the years but never a white one and never one that was painted by KPM either. They were always second choice it seems as is this one here though I ahve no idea why. The piece is superbly modeled as a small simple cup at the top with three child figures holding it up on a nice base. Not sure what the children are meant to represent but it seems to be a bit of an odd mix. There is one draped with a cloth over the hear which I would interpret as winter. One is definitely a blacksmith with an anvil behind him, there is a cute owl perched in the rocks over the anvil and the last figure is holding a pickax and shield maybe for mining? I really like that is is all white instead of painted in a low quality way as most are so I was excited to find it. Maybe I'll make it my new morning coffee cup :) The piece is in perfect condition. It is 5.25 inches tall with a top diameter of 3.375 inches. Marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark with a cut across it as well as the usual impressed marks one finds of KPM during this period. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
