Asian Style Tea Jar

This is a tea caddy in the asian style of the 18th century made by KPM around 1850 when the Asian style was the fashion again for a short time. It is handpainted with a scene including flowers, a building, rocks, trees and animals in the asian style using colors similar to Japanese pieces. Scroll work made of porcelain on the bottom of the jar by the footring and a nicely shaped lid. Lots of gold highlights as well. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter and penny mark as well as the overglaze red KPM orb mark showing it was painted by KPM. Also some impressed characters I can't make out. One might be a C or an O and the others are some kind of symbols probably artist marks. The jar is 5.25 inches tall without the lid and about 7 inches tall with the lid. Diameter is 3.75 inches. The jar and lid are in perfect condition. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
