Art Nouveau Turkey

This is a fun turkey figurine made by KPM in the early 20th century. It was designed by Carl Wilhelm Robra around 1909 and is painted in underglaze colors which was really only done during the Art Nouveau era and is very nice! This model is very ahrd to find and I ahve not seen it in these lightter colors. A stunning look. The bird is hand painted in grey tones with a reddish head and neck. The figure displays perfectly but there is a light colored bump on his tail which is the reason for the second choice cut byt the mark and a very shallow chip to the edge of the tail. Neiter takes away from the piece. It is perfect for your Thanksgiving table! The piece marked in the back with his monogram WR as well as underneath with the underglaze blue scepter mark and the blue orb mark. The piece is 4.75 inches tall, 4.5 inches deep and 4.25 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $599
