The plate has a neat reticulated edge highlighted with gold and the center has a hand painted fruit scene includingtwo pears and their shadows. The plate is in great condition with a few minor knife marks from use. It displays perfectly. The piece is 1.25 inches tall and 7.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, the word Gute Louise (a type or pear known as the European or common pear) and the usual painter's, gilder's and impressed marks as shown.
