Art Nouveau "Jewelled" Vase

This is a really nice vase made by KPM in the early 20th century during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period. The piece is handpainted with four floral arrangements of pansies - two in a darker purple tone and two a bit lighter with more yellow in the mix. These are of superb quality and very much in the Weichmalerei taste of the period. What is unusual and something one rarely sees is that the sections in between the flowers as well as around the neck of the vase have a design of little light green raised "jewels" to it which are made up of the famous Seger enamels of the period. A thin gold trim connecting the raised dots as well as to either side of the design make this one elegant vase! Just an amzing vase and if you love pansies - a must have for sure :) The vase is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter mark, the red orb as well as some black numbers and a painter's number. The piece is in perfect condition which is always a plus! The vase is 6.5 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
