Dancing Couple Figurine

This is a fun Art Nouveau period figurine of a dancing couple made by KPM in the early 20th century. The lady and gentleman are wearing traditional costumes from the Bavaria region of Southern Germany and are having a great time dancing on a naturalistic base with a bit of gold trim along the edge. She is wearing a blue dress with a white apron that has some nice lace details to it, a flower by her bosom and a nice hat while he is wearing lederhosen, a typical greenish vest with a white shirt and the traditional hat. The colors are stunning and typical of this period. The figure is in perfect condition. It is about 8.25 inches tall, 6.25 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scepter, the red orb as well as the usual impressed numbers and letters and some black numbers as shown. A green painter's mark to the edge of the underside. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
