Art Nouveau Pear Scene Plate #2

This is a really nice plate made by KPM in 1913 during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period of the early 20th century. The plate has a neat reticulated edge design to it highlighted with gilding and the center has a superb hand painted fruit scene including two pears and their shadows. The combination of the rim and the fruit still life scene look amazing! The plate is in superb condition and displays perfectly. No chips, repairs, etc. The piece is 1.25 inches tall and just under 7.375 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as well as the red orb mark, the word Gute Louise (a type or pear known as the European or common pear) and the usual painter's, gilder's and impressed marks as shown. It also has thir red 150 year anniversary mark on it - 1763 to 1913 as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
