Arkadia Tea Cup & Saucer #4

This is a tea cup and saucer set from the Arkadia / Arcadia series made by KPM in the mid 20th century right after WWII. A really nice shape - sleek and modern with an unglazed medallion of a sea shell on the saucer as shown. The rest of the cup and saucer are glazed. A really nice looking set! Both pieces are in perfect condition with a tiny black firing spot next to the seashell design as shown. Both pieces are marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter with the S under it for the Selb location as well as some impressed marks under the saucer typical for this period as shown. The cup is just over 2.125 inches tall and has a diameter of just over 3.875 inches. The saucer is 0.625 inches tall with a diameter of 6.625 inches.
