Large Arkadia Flower Pot #3

This is a second large flower / cache pot / jadiniere / wine or champagne cooler or whatever else you might want to use it for :) made by KPM in the 20th century. It is from the Arkadia design service with a nice unglazed porcelain medallion to the front of two nude ladies with some wheat designed in a very Art Deco look. The rest of the pot has a nice shape to it and is glazed on the inside and outside. This service was designed designed by the famous Trude Petri in 1938 to mark the 175th anniversary of KPM. It's a great design! The piece is in perfect condition with some minor water marks to the bottom inside from use. The planter is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter as shown - first choice. No impressed date code so it would date it to between 1945 and 1948 when they did not sue them for a short period of time. The pot is 5.875 inches tall and 7.125 inches in diameter. I have a matching piece on the the site if anyone is interested in a rare pair. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $349
