Angel Scene Plate

This is a plate made by KPM around 1925. It is handpainted with a detailed scene of two angels playing in the clouds with flowers and sheets. The rim is reticulated and decorated with forget me nots in relief painted in peach as well as a fancy raised trim highlighted in gold. I have a matching second plate as well on the site. This plate is 1.125 inches tall and 8.625 inches in diameter. It is in great condition with two very small rim chips both of which I had restored by a new restorer which din't fully impress me. They are not visible when on display at all though! The plate is marked with the underglaze blue scepter mark, the red orb mark, as well as various impressed and incised marks like the date letter T. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $499
