Putto Scene & Floral Box

This is a rare porcelain patch / snuff / pill or tabacco box made in the Art Nouveau period by KPM around 1900. The top of the lid has a handpainted scene of two putti wearing yellow cloth sitting in a cloud with a butterfly by them on it that is surrounded with some nice gold trim. The bottom as well as the front, back, both sides and inside lid of the box have some superb flowers in the Weichmalerei style using softer colors handpainted on them as well as some more superb gold trim. The inside bottom of the box also has a some nice fancy gilding on it. The box is marked on the inside back with the red orb mark as well as on the side with the underglaze blue scepter (which is very faint but one can see the slightly blue line there. The metal mounts are probably bronze. The box is in perfect condition with the teeniest of wear to the bottom. It is just under 3 inches wide, 1.5 inches tall and 1.875 inches deep.
