Amberg Japanese Fisherman Figurine

This is a very neat figurine made by KPM in the mid 20th century. It is of a Japanese man carrying a fish over his shoulders - a figurine that was part of the crown prince's wedding procession designed by Adolf Amberg and extremely popular among collectors even today! One can see why - a well modeled figurine that is super elegant and left in the white brings this out even more I think! The figurine is in perfect condition. He is 10.25 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 5 inches deep. The figure is marked underneath with the blue scepter mark as well as the usual impressed marks one finds on KPM pieces. There is also a faint signature by his back foot of the designer AMBERG in impressed letters. It is a bit faint but it is there. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
