Adolf Flad Design Saucer

This is a stunning saucer made by KPM during the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period in the early 20th century. The design is almost certainly by Adolf Flad who is famous for this sort of thing. I can't think of any other artist this could have been by. The piece is hand painted with a scene in the center including s bird of paradise on a stylized branch in gold and blue tones. Simple gold ring around the rim. A nice looking piece and unlike any other I have come across. Sadly no cup but there is always hope :) The saucer is in perfect condition with just a touch of use marks. It is just under 1.125 inches tall and 4.75 inches in diameter and marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as the usual black numbers, artists marks and impressed marks as shown.
