Kloesterle Pitcher w/Rare Mark

This is a little pot / pitcher or large creamer made by Klösterle in the 18th. Not the most exciting piece but I wanted it since I had not seen the mark before except in books so it is always nice to see an example in real life :) So more for information and learning than the piece itself. The little pot is decorated with a blue strawflower design with a ribbed design to the paste. The piece is 4.625 inches tall and 3.25 inches in diameter. It is marked with the under glaze blue letter K with the stag antler type mark above it. Their earliest mark. The piece has seen better days. It likely had a lid which is missing, the bottom handle terminal has been restored, there is a nasty hairline to the top edge as shown and some general firing issues normal to these early pieces. Still a superb learning example which is why I bought it in the first place. Please email me for more information or photos.
