James Giles Floral Cup & Saucer

This is an interesting cup and saucer made in England in the 18th century. I think the blanks are likely made by Liverpool but possibly Worcester or even Chinese and they were decorated by the James Giles studio in London. Typical floral arrangement style and single flowers as well. The saucer is slightly better in terms of quality of the decoration than the cup so Giles himself might have done that one. Either way a really nice tea bowl and saucer set. Really nice quality porcelain that is thinly potted. The set is in great condition with the cup being perfect and the saucer having some tiny nibbles along the edge and a short stable hairline that is hard to spot. Some tiny pitting to the saucer from the firing process. They display perfectly! The set is not marked underneath but that is normal for this period and maker. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 4.625 inches in diameter and the cup is 1.625 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
