Vinovo Flutist Musician Figurine

This is a very rare porcelain figurine made by Vinovo in the late 18th century. The factory was started in 1776 by Giovanni Vittorio Brodel and Pierre-Antoine Hannong near Turin, Italy. Brodel left the operation in 1778 and Hannong in 1780 after which the factory closed briefly. It reopened the same year under the management of Vittorio Amedeo Gioanetti. Their pieces are very hard to find and I could not find another one of this model but that odd underside I found on some of their pieces and there is a girl playing the mandolin which might be his matching piece. Plus the firing cracks are typical of their figures. The figurine is made of hard paste porcelain and of a young man playing the flute. He is sitting on a rocky outcrop on an uneven base. Thick glaze to the porcelain. It is a nicely modeled figure and really looks great despite the manufacturing flaws. The piece is in great condition with a bunch of firing cracks as shown and the very bottom end of the flute is missing which isn't that obvious since the break is right where the hand covers it. Unmarked which makes it hard to ID but I am pretty confident in my identification! The figurine is 6 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide and 5.25 inches deep.
