Italian Egg Cup

This is an eggup most likely made by an Italian maker in the 18th century but I am not totally sure. Somehow in some pictures it looks a bit Asian to me as well but it is certainly from the 18th century! The egg cup is handpainted with a band with four superbly enamelled flowers in it with a gold and orange band on top and bottom of the flowers as well as the foot of the eggcup. The quality of the piece is top of the line with the enamel colors rich and thick and just great. Just not sure who exactly used colors like this. The egg cup is in superb condition with a small area of the gold band over the puce flower looking a bit different but it's very likely original. The bottom of the egg cup is unglazed and solid like the early pieces around 1750. The piece is 2.75 inches tall and 1.875 inches in diameter at the top. It is unmarked which is pretty normal for early Italian porcelain. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
