William Reid Chinoiserie Cup

This is a rare cup made by William Reid of Liverpool in about 1758. I thought it was made by Chaffers but the newest research shows that he did in fact not make this type of porcelain. It was attributed to William Reid after excavation at that factory site! It is handpainted with a superb Chinoiserie scene of a lady in a landscape as well as orange/brown trim and a flower to the inside bottom. The colors are strong and the detail superb. The cup is in good condition but has a teeny chip to the top rim and a hairline plus the flower to the inside bottom is worn. The cup is unmarked which is the norm! The cup stands 1.625 inches tall and 2.875 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
