English Castle Scene Platter

This is a really nice large platter / serving tray made either in England or France in the 19th century. Not entirely sure where it was made or by whom. Could be from the Paris regiond or could be Spode or Worcester or Copeland or such hard to tell for me. Either way it is a superb tray - likely would ahve been part of a nice solitaire set. Unusual to see it with scenes of English castles so a nice change from the more common decorations. The piece is hand painted with four scenes of English castles - mostly ruins it seems. Each scene is surrounded by a nice gold trim with raised details to them with the rest of the set having a pleasant pink ground color to it. The center is white with a gold design in the middle and a gold trim to the outside. The handles have aslo been left white with some gold trim to them. The castles that are painted on the piece are each labeled as shown - there is Warwick , Furness , Kenilworth and Fountains . Each is superbly hand painted with lots of detail in a landscape surrounding. A stunning dish of a nice size. The tray is in superb condition with some minor use marks. It displays perfectly! The entire piece is about 15.25 inches wide, 12.5 inches deep and 1.625 inches tall. It is not marked which does not help me at all. Signs of an old round sticker residue but that's it. Translucency is greenish. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
