Gotha Floral Creamer

This is a lidded creamer made by Gotha around 1780. Gotha is probably the best of the Thuringia makers in terms of quality of the paste and painting. They existed from 1757 until 1937 in one form or another. This creamer is a superb example of Gotha's work. The flowers are very well executed and the porcelain is of great quality. The creamer is in the classicism style and has a handpainted floral arrangement on both sides as well as two small flowers on top of the lid. The handles have a fake screw on either side where they attach to the main body. The creamer is in perfect condition! It is marked underneath in black with the letter R and an incised x. The creamer and lid are 4.375 inches tall and 2.375 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.
