Gotha Black Scenic Saucer #2

This is a saucer made by Gotha around 1790. Another superb example of Gotha's work - it is in the classicism style and has a hand painted scene in schwarzlot ( black ) in the center including a round building as well as lots of trees. Nice gold trim around the well of the saucer and on the edge. The piece is in great condition with a little wear to the gold trim. The saucer is marked underneath with the underglaze blue R.g. mark, a blue number 2 andan impressed 2 RFL or something along those lines and a T in black which might be a painter's mark. The saucer is 5 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $399
