Goldscheider Hentschel Figurine

This is a rare figurine of an Asian girl made by Goldscheider in Austria in the early 20th century. She was designed by the famous Julius Konrad Hentschel who worked primarily for Meissen and is famous for the Hentschel Kinder / children figurines there! Other famous artists that worked here were Michael Powolny and Vally Wieselthier so he was in good company :) The figurines is of a girl wearing Asian design clothes holding a pot in her hands with a stoll behind her. She is made of majolica / faience and is reminiscent of Lenci figurines one sees more often than these. A really fun piece you won't see again very soon! The figurine is marked on the back of the base with Hentschel's impressed name, the model number 5488, an impressed G in a circle mark for Goldscheider and inside the bottom of the base with the number 13 over 12 and F. in black for a painter I assume and the Roman numeral XII. in black. The piece is 4.75 inches tall, 1.375 inches wide as well as deep. The figurine displays nicely but has issues. She was broken through the legs and perfectly glued, her head was broken off and is reglued, there is some flaking to the enamels on the pot, the bottom edge of the right side of her coat, her right elbow and on top of her head (that has been filled in with black paint) and there is a small almost chip to the front top right corner of the base which never totally came off. Like I said she displays nicely but could use a little extra care :) Please email me for more information or photos.
