Early Goldscheider Figurine

This is a cermic figurine made by Friedrich Goldscheider around 1915. A nice and early piece still made in Austria before the company moved and split up. The figurine is of a nicely modeled lady in a wide blue skirt with a black apron. She is wearing a blue blouse with white sleeves that have flowers along the sleeve edges. Her hands are in front holding a bible and a floral handkerchief. Nicely handpainted. She is marked on the bottom inside with the early Eagle stamp with Vienna under it as well as the letters F. and G. plus the model number 4613 / 2/ 05 and the Roman numeral V, Another letter F on the other side and an X. The artist signature to the back of her dress - Auersperg I believe it states. The figure is a 7.375 inches tall, 4.75 inches wide and 4.375 inches deep. She is in great condition with some very old glue residue to the underside - someone likely had glued some felt to the udnerside in order to keep it from scratching the wood shelf where she was displayed. One spot of flaking to the glaze on the side of her apron. She displays beautifully and looks great! Please email me for more information or photos.
