Doccia Relief Scene Plate

This is a rare plate made by Doccia / Ginori in the 19th century. While I have seen and own a number of cups I have never seen a plate like this before and judging by the gold footring which was generally reserved for very important pieces it must be rather special. The only other gilded footring I have ever seen were on pieces for the Russian Zsar or German royalty. The plate is superbly decorated with raised scenes that are quite detailed and very well painted. Even the center has a large scene in it which is unusual as it would have been hard to eat off it but other examples like the Swan Service from Meissen in Germany had the same issue so I guess it is OK :) The plate has a nice rim shape with the edge highlighted in gilding. It is in perfect condition. The plate is 1.25 inches tall and has a diameter of 9.125 inches. It is marked with an underglaze crown N underneath. There is an area of some odd discoloration under the mark. Not sure what that is all about. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
