Ginori Rose Serving Dish

This is a rare square serving dish made by Ginori in about 1770. It is handpainted with detailed roses and a leaf like trim to the rim. This the called the Lodi pattern. Two gold trim lines as well. The dish is made with a tin glaze to cover the not so white porcelain paste. This was used around 1770. The plate is in perfect condition! It is unmarked which is very common. The story behind the plates is neat as well. They were given to an American soldier by an Italian count when he was part of the liberation of Italy during the war. The note from the son is still on the back of the plate. The dish is 1.25 inches tall and 9.375 inches wide. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
