Ginori Medici Vase

This is a superb large vase made by the Richard Ginori factory in the 20th century. It is in the so called Medici shape and is hand painted (which is rare to find!) with a superb floral arrangement on the front and back. Each arrangementscontains a number of different flowers and their leaves. These are done to a very high standard! The rest of the vase vase has a maroon ground color to it with lots of gilding over it which looks stunning. Each side has a nice handle to it. The central part has a flower and leaf relief design to it that are highlighted with gilding. Gold trim to top and bottom. I normally don't buy their 20th century pieces but this one here is an exception to the rule being really elegant and stunning and hand painted. The piece is in perfect condition - the metal screw is a bit loose so the top abd bottom can be moved but it is not bad and can be tightened I am sure. It is marked underneath as shown. The fancy gold and black mark is only used on their very best wares and this piece is signed by the artist as well so definitely something special! This vase is 12 inches tall and 9 inches in diameter so a perfect size to display it anywhere. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
