September Figurine

This is a figurine made in Germany around 1900. More than likely a KPM Berlin blank. It is of a young man holding a hat full of fruit in his left hand while eating a piece of fruit. The figure represents September from a series of Zodiac sign figurines this one representing Libra . Nicely modeled and hand painted outside the factory. The figurine is likely marked underneath but someone added a metal stick to the underside and fileld the area where the mark would be with some sort of material that does not come out easily. The figurine is just under 4 inches tall, 1.75 inches wide and 1.375 inches deep. It is in good condition with some wear mainly to the gold trim around the base edge and a small chip to the edge of his hat as shown. Please email me for more information or photos.
