Sepia Scene Plate #2

This is a plate probably made by one of the Thuringia makers like Gotha or a maker like Althaldensleben around the early 19th century. It is handpainted with a very detailed scene of Burgruine Windegg which is located in Oberoestereich ( somewhere towards northern Austria) in mostly brown tones. The ruin is in the center of a landscape scene with lots of trees, a house nearby, a man walking as well as some cattle and a couple by a fire. It is a great quality piece and has a nice gold rim. The plate is in super condition with a bit of wear. It is marked underneath the scene with the title Ruine Windegg. I own Gotha plates that are not marked from this time period but it might be another maker similar to them as well. The plate is 1 inch tall and 7.625 inches in diameter.
