Thuringia Puce Scenic Tea Pot

This is a nice looking tea pot made by one of the better Thuringia area makers around 1780. Sadly it is unmarked which makes it a bunch more difficult to ID but Limbach or Rauenstein are a possibility. The teapot has a hand painted scene in puce on either side that are of a very nice quality as well as a small ones on the lid. Two leaves on the lid as well and a floral finial with its stem and two leaves. . The handle and spout have a branch design to them with flowers to the terminals. The pot displays perfectly but has had restorations to the handle spout and along the lid opening. Absolutely perfectly done and invisible. The tea pot and lid are 4.25 inches tall, 6.75 inches from handle to spout tip and 4.25 inches in diameter. Please email me for more information or photos.

Price is $399
