Blue Onion Filter Spoon

This is a slotted spoon or filtering spoon kitchen tool made in Germany in the later 19th or early 20th century. It is hand painted with the famous blue onion design on the white porcelain all around the outside edge has a blue trim to the inside edge. It is missing its wooden handle so that needs to be replaced. It has an opening on the side where the handle would fit into and a tiny hole to the udnerside where the nail would go into the old the handle in place. The porcelain piece is in great condition. The piece is about 2.75 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches tall with the handle attachment piece sticking out another half inch. Unmarked but definitely German of the period around 1900.
