Rare Floral Cup & Saucer

This is a very rare porcelain cup and saucer made by the Gardner factory in Verbilky near Moscow in the 18th century . I have owned some single pieces by them and some plates but never a cup and saucer so I was thrilled to find it. It is nicely hand painted with a large floral and leaf arrangementcovering most of the pieces and a typical rust colored trim to the edges. A really nice cup & saucer set that one will not see again soon. Reminds me very much of the the top German maker's pieces. The cup is 2.5 inches tall with a diameter of 2.5 inches. The saucer is 1.125 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.125 inches. Both pieces are in great condition - as nice as they come! Each is marked underneath with an under glaze blue capital G mark as well as some painted marks, two blue dots on the foot ring of the saucer and some impressed marks including Tapahepz ( Gardner in Cyrillc letters ) as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.
