Trembleuse Saucer

This is a rare trembleuse saucer made by Fuerstenberg in the 18th century. It is handpainted with three small floral arrangements as well as a nice gold trim. Small flower in the center of the very nicely reticulated center that would hold the cup. These were made for people whose hands were shaking a lot so they wouldn't spill their drink as easily as with another type of cup. The saucer is in great condition with just some wear to the gold ring on the very edge of the saucer. A bit of wear to the clear glaze in the center where the cup used to sit which shows it was used a lot back in the days! The saucer is 1.375 inches tall and has a diameter of 5.25 inches. It is marked underneath with the underglaze blue scipt F mark as shown. Please email me for more information or other pictures.

Price is $399
